I don't mean to be irreverant here, and I appreciate your post very much. Wish I could sit in on your classes.

But..............do you remember the episode of "The Andy Griffith Show" where Gomer went into the Marine Corps? He kept making so many silly mistakes that Sgt. Carter put a bucket on his head and told him to sit there and think. When Andy found him with the bucket on his head, Gomer said it really WAS easy to think that way!

It is magnanimous to think about all the places from which we get our thoughts. Blogging has helped me think about things in life to about which to blog. That helps steer me toward thinking aout all the events of everyday life. There is a lot of places to think. Ihope that we will take your encouragement to heart.

A little spiritual “meta-cognition” (thinking about thinking) is certain good for the soul. Sounds like a great small group study. Keep it coming.

I hear Dr. Vzznohs is also into meta-cognition.

Good stuff, bro! I took a drive out into the desert last week w/ one of our former elders and we talked a lot about this same subject.

Thanks for sharing it with us. It will stay fresh on my mind as I enter another week.

If I think about foabp, is that good or bad?

This isn't such new territory for you Dr. Randy. You always provided teaching that I was able to put into action for Christ that same week. In order to do it you have to think it. Maybe the larger problem is retention, sort of a spiritual alzheimers.

Is this a bad thought: "What he doesn't know won't hurt him."?

Keep those lessons coming.

Good, um, thoughts. We don't hear too many studies about learning how to think.

I find I think about what I'm feeding into my head. I even dream about it.

Keep us posted on the following lessons… Copyright protected, I imagine.

pplxzxoc: Slovac for "what was I thinking?"
