Joe and I hated missing your concert on Saturday! My mom got me tickets to the Dave Matthews concert for my birthday and it was the same night. I hope everything went well and look forward to hearing about it!

P.S. This Texas girl LOVES breakfast tacos and thinks any excuse to eat Mexican food is a good one.

Seeing your DC pictures bring back some wonderful memories of 1976 when two college friends and I took the grand tour of DC and Philly. Friends are wonderful and old friends are truly grand.

You should always have passion about the truly important things in life. Like food. Afterall, food is literally a matter of life and death.

I just about fell out of my chair when I read how old your kids are. I guess I knew they were still aging, but I can still remember a very young Reese running around like crazy in just his undergarments singing the VeggieTales song…oh no, wait, that was Randy when he was all hopped up on salsa and goose liver at 9:30 am and I had to rush out of court to intervene for the good of the children. Good times.

I have always loved it that you have a daughter and son the same age span as what we have. A few short summers ago, Tim and I had a 7th grader and a 5th grader at home.
Next fall David will be a junior at the U of O, and Becky will start her second year of teaching third grade.
I am so glad that you and Beth are the kind of Parents that enjoy every minute.

I could not respond to your disturbing post yesterday, which I now realize was a cry for help. Fortunately, I could log on today.

Though I only played with your pb once, it was a very fun time in my life. I know you’ll miss being with them. Hope the concert goes well for you. I really do wish I could be there, not so much to play but to just support you in this.
