Comfort Foods

Each year we talk about having a different menu for Thanksgiving.

Mexican?  Chinese?  Italian?

In the end, like every other year, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie win the day.

I hope you enjoy a thankful day.

For me, the traditional Thanksgiving menu is my least favorite selection of foods! But since we celebrate the holiday with friends (and not at our house), I keep my opinion to myself and eat … like a PIG!

I know. Some people want HAM for traditional meals. Can you believe?

Nothing like the traditional foods on Thanksgiving to me. I just get it too much. We have a meal, then leftovers,
and then leftovers from that and so on. Hope you had a great one!!

We have turkey and dressing AND ham.
And potato salad. Those are staples, along
with the sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie.
