Really. It is hard work but have found that since it doesn't take a lot of brain power, I'm quite good at it. And I did it all with two handheld sanders. Don't laugh. One year I told her I would do it for her ... save her that money. I was a fool! And I never offered to do that job again. You passed up a chance to use large machinery?I used one of those sanders once. Bought the large sheets of sandpaper and everything. Then I asked "How does the sandpaper stay in place"? By the sheer weight of the machine I found out. Worked good. These days I'm loving the look of cement floors. Stain. Seal. Polish. Walk away and forget about it. Live. Love. Life. I got lucky when I told my wife lawn edging was not my gift. I only have to botch the job once. Now we have a gardner. You didn’t rent the big 300 lb. upright sander?
