We get new windows today and the plumbing work begins.

I’ll make my first trip to the dump today.

Ah, the sanitary landfill?  How did those two words become linked?

   My son and I had to make the “dump run” recently. I told him to brace himself because it will stink. I couldn’t believe how they’ve “sanitized” the air around that place. I remember as a kid going to the dump and nearly vomiting from the smell. Ahh, the good old days when a dump smelled like it should. What’ll they think of next?

   My late father-in-law would go to the dump (the one Keith Davis described above) and bring home more than he took!
