I signed up for a research class under a prof who had a reputation of being very easy so I would not get in the class of the one who was hated because he demanded so much. Our class was split and I ended up with the prof so hated and I absolutely loved the course. He pushed us hard, but did so in a way that we really wanted to show him what we could do. If only I could have preached at a church where the people really wanted to be pushed in their discipleship. I think it's an important part of preaching and teaching the Bible too.
