Sister-in-law and hubby of sister-in-law gave us a fire pit that “consumed” their back yard (too big for the space).

We’ve enjoyed the fire out of that thing.

We just sit around (as a family) watch the wood burn, eat dinner, make smores, and (get this) talk.

The table movement never really caught on in churches.

Maybe a fire pit movement?

   We love our fire pit, as well. It gets more use in the summer months than the winter. Go figure. But my wife’s blood starts to crystalize when the temps drop below mid-70′s.

   Must be a CofC thing – getting together for bonfires is a favorite West Cocoa activity.

   A fire pit ought to work in any setting!
