Mariachi Band
Have you ever seen / heard a mariachi band?
The good things going for the mariachi band include: Sharp outfits, fun music and they sing (usually without amplification) loud enough to be heard.
It gives me some inspiration for a fall back career!
I LOVE a good Mariachi band, especially when they leave out the accordion. Their harmonies are always very tight and the music is great.
I love the fat guitars. And the added “cries” of the singers. A little like MJ’s “uh… ah…”
i like the trumpets (and the sharp outfits). since my then fiance (now husband) wouldn’t go for the elvis/chapel in vegas; thought we should do elvis/mariachi at the restaurant in old town albuquerque after the ceremony…did the dinner, still kinda regret not doing elvis impersonator and the mariachi though–especially since i could have probably talked his best friend into doing an impersonation gig. maybe for a significant anniversary??
