We had a review of our retirement portfolio with our broker yesterday.
Doesn’t look like I will be able to retire at age 45.
23% of our portfolio is in Apple stock so get out there and buy more Apple products.

Jan and I recently checked our retirement status and came up with a wonderful plan … we work until we die. Hopefully the son will give the survivor a discounted price on the funeral arrangements.
I hope we can retire in 7 (puts us at 58) years. However, there is a lady teaching at my school who is in her (I’m not making this up) 58th year of teaching!!!
I often refer to her as a “freak of nature.”
I’m planning on my son being independently wealthy and sharing the excess with his parents.
The retirement seminar I attended in DC was a real downer!
I came home knowing I had to work until I died at my desk. Then I decided I knew more than they did, and I retired. Now I’m job hunting!!!
