Garage Project
I began the monumental task of cleaning out the garage last night.
The motivation for this pursuit was of course to get the ping-pong table out of the house.
I’ve never been much of a garage sale person but we have so many things that could go into a garage sale.
I’d rather throw it all away than have a garage sale.
Relax. Calm down. I’ll find a way to give most of it away.
Went through the same thing a couple of years ago. We never did the garage sale thing either … just didn’t want the hassle of putting it all out, pricing it, and then haggling with all the people in my drive way that I didn’t want in my driveway. We have it to church sales to support mission works and to Salvation Army and thrift stores. I did sell a couple of high priced items (such as my 24-channel mixing board that was all but brand new) on Craig’slist.
What you need to do is put a roof over that deck out back and move everything from the garage to the deck! Beth would love that view of the back yard!
Cleaned out our attic a couple of years ago. Now it needs cleaning again. Is everybody’s attic dusty?
Our church is opening up a Thrift Store called “Upscale Retail.” If you would like to box any of your garage items up and of course, pay for the shipping we’ll gladly take it off your hands in the name of “Christian love.”
Oh, could you send extra money to pay for our gas to pick up your items in Orlando? Thanks.
Cleaning out the garage is a challenging project, but ping pong throughout the year? Priceless.
